As part of a year-long celebration, the Marrano/Marc Equity Corporation begins 2016 with the grand opening one of its most popular ranch-style homes in Amherst this weekend.
Marrano has been building homes with innovative features for the residents of Western New York for 60 years. The builder will showcase its building/developing experience in the model home at 73 Boxelder Lane and home sites in the next phase in Evergreen Landing.
“To kick off our 60th Anniversary celebration, this home is being offered at a special price of $299,900,” said Dana Caito, new home construction professional for Marrano. “The model is available for immediate occupancy.”
This one-floor design presents an abundance of space, yet is easy to maintain, Caito continued. “The model is shown at 1,489 square feet of living space, but the plan can be built with numerous design changes which allows customers to build this home to meet their own size requirements — from 1,300 to more than 2,000 square feet.”
The home’s curb appeal includes a country cottage façade, full front porch and wooded lot. The sheltering front porch opens to a guest-greeting foyer that provides a clear view of the open design.
Hardwood flooring flows from the foyer into the country kitchen on the right. The U-shaped kitchen highlights granite countertops, maple cabinets with coordinating crown moulding and custom light fixtures.
The dinette is set in a window at the front of the home while a pass through opening looks into the great room at the other end of the kitchen.
The great room (main photo) — a combination of formal dining area and family room — gains vertical proportions with a tray ceiling.
An energy-efficient gas-burning fireplace, at the far end of the room, is flanked by Pella patio doors. They add natural light to the room and offer a view that overlooks mature trees at the rear yard.
